The LDSMS provides you with a solid method to quickly install or detach the mounting base from the weapon system. Thanks to its clever design, the specially designed floating recoil relief pin is located at the centre of the dovetail rail in all time. With the aid of floating recoil relief pin, the base could be quickly detached from the Dovetail mount without having to dismount the scope and the need to re-zero your optic.

The floating recoil relief pin also act as a wedge block and minimizes the multi-directional movement of the scope while firing.
